Pro-Cut Designs Arm Extension Kit

New feature allows Pro-Cut lathes to cut rear rotors on medium duty trucks

Pro-Cut International is pleased to release the latest design advance for their on-car brake lathes: an arm extension kits that allows the lathe to reach and cut the rear rotors of medium duty Ford, Dodge and GM trucks.

 

The arm extension consists of a modular housing that's inserted between the cutting head and the lathe body thereby extending the reach of the lathe more than 5 inches. Also included in the kit are innovative threaded stand-offs allow Pro-Cut's standard dual wheel adapter to be used. Set-up is intuitive and fast. "It's a simple process that involves removing 4 bolts, then reassembling with eight. The entire process takes less than ten minutes and represents an enormous time savings for brake service on the rear rotors of medium duty trucks," said Pro-Cut's Director of R&D, Chris Greenwald.
