Goodyear Picks Pro-Cut's PFM900 SmartLathe for Company Stores

Pro-Cut International has been awarded a contract by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company to supply its Pro-Cut PFM900 SmartLathe to all Goodyear Auto Service Centers throughout North America. The agreement is effective immediately.

 

"We have seen a growing need for on-car lathes in our business," said Roy Sutfin, Goodyear's service sales manager.

 

Paul Ebert, national accounts representative for Pro-Cut oversaw the installation of the lathes at the test sites. "The shops were blown away by the speed of the machine," said Ebert, "there was an immediate shift in how they approached brake work. All of a sudden they had the Pro-Cut on the front line and the bench lathe was sitting dormant."

 

Installation of PFM900's will be part of the equipment in new store openings. Existing stores will be equipped as replacement equipment is required.

 

Pro-Cut International Ltd., LLC markets a growing range of proprietary brake repair tools including the patented Discus rotor measuring system and the Pro-Cut series of on-car brake lathes. The company is located in West Lebanon, NH.
