The following manufacturers have either made Pro-Cut an essential tool for their dealers, or written technical service bulletins urging dealers to use the Pro-Cut lathe. The bulletins are available below.

BMW 2004 - BMW approves Pro-Cut for warranty service
DaimlerChrysler (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep)

1996 - Chrysler releases new warranty bulletin naming Pro-Cut as preferred repair.
2003 - DaimlerChrysler names Pro-Cut a required tool for servicing Durango.

2006 - DaimlerChrysler names Pro-Cut a required tool for servicing Jeep.

2007 - DaimlerChrysler requires on-car machining for warranty service.

2008 - DaimlerChrysler begins enforcement of on-car machining for warranty service.

Ford Motor Company (Ford, Lincoln, Mercury) 1998 - Ford delivers Pro-Cut brake lathes to every US and Canadian dealer.
2002 - Ford delivers lathes to every Australian and New Zealand dealer.
General Motors (Chevrolet, GMC) 2003 - GM names the Pro-Cut 9.2 as an essential tool for US and Canadian dealers.
Honda 2007- Pro-Cut approved for dealer use in Canada (not published per request of Honda CAN)
Hyundai 1997 - Hyundai TSB 97-50-007 names Pro-Cut as recommended tool.
Nissan/Infiniti 2004 - Pro-Cut named essential tool in US.
2005 - Pro-Cut named essential tool in Canada.
Peugeot 2001 - Peugeot names Pro-Cut for warranty repairs.
Porsche 2004 - Approved for servicing Porsche 911.
Subaru 1994 - Subaru picks Pro-Cut for dealers.
2003 - Subaru drop warranty time from 1.4 hrs to 1.0 hrs per axle.
Toyota/Lexus 2002 - Pro-Cut approved for warranty service
VW 2007 - Pro-Cut named recommended tool by VW
